WARNING: LOTS TO READ!!!
My partner was Veronica, because it turns out that she hadn't asked her supposed to be partner yet. We -- well, actually she thought of it but i thought of the machine thingy - had this great plan of someone giving blood so that one sick kid would benefit. Unfortunately, we both suck at drawing hospital stuffs so we just made the giver cut herself. Smiling. With her eyes closed. It looked as if we were telling people to cut themselves because it makes them oh so happy. Then since I'm horrible at drawing people lying down - and I had to cause the kid was supposedly at the hospital - she turned out incredibly stiff and holding this horrifying teddy bear. We also painted the background black - wasting a lot of ink in the process - but half of the time we ended up putting either too much water or not enough water. Then we decided to color them instead so that the results won't be THAT bad, but it still turned out bad. Then Veronica laughed, and her saliva dropped into the work. Then I accidentally put black paint on the sick kid's hair, so we just gave her a headband. o.e Then we ended up smudging the paint and the crayons when we were cleaning it of the eraser shavings.
So yeah, it wasn't really that good.
Buut yeah. :D
Also, in previous art contests, I remember that we were supposed to wear our uniform. I thought that maybe this one wouldn't be any different. It didn't say anything on the paper, so I thought that it was expected that we were to wear our uniform. So I did.
Everyone else came in in civilian clothing. Shit.
So me, and two other foreign guys, were the only ones who wore the uniform. Which led to Mary calling me Uniform. I guess now she'll call me the Uniform Practice Videomaker?? Anyway, she and Moira were partners and their project was great! I had to leave early though, so I wasn't able to see the finished product. I'm sure it was awesome, though. They'll probably win. :)
There were three other classmates of ours who joined. Pia and Ross were partners -- and theirs was awesome too! I think Pia did most of it, though...? I'm not sure. Then there was Kenji, who was alone because his partner didn't show up and only brought a pencil (we were supposed to bring our own art materials). He came because of a girl in another section -- who turned out to be absent. But his was nice too! And my seatmate, Sistine (who is great at drawing!), drew one of an angel and some orphans. And a nun, too. My mommy, Bernadette and her partner -- I don't know her name -- were there too. I didn't see their project though. ( Zinna and I are sisters and Bernadette is our mom. Whoever her crush is is our stepdad. But our dad is ... I'm not allowed to tell...)
Anyway, let's move on, shall we?
I stayed up late last night. Well, not that late compared to most people but still sort of late. I slept at the afternoon, and was still awake at 12:30 AM, watching American Idol. I hate you, Kara, for fighting with Katy Perry. D:<>
