We left at 6, although I had planned on leaving at 5:30 so that'd I'd be super early. I love being early for field trips! At first I feared that I might be left behind, but luckily, I wasn't and I was just in time. One classmate of ours, Margarita, though, was late and she had to be left behind because we were in a hurry to Bataan -- which is four hours away. Someone drove her there instead. And because of my sort of latenessity, I wasn't able to pick a good seat and had to choose one at the front. Veronica, who arrived later than me, had no choice but to go through with the seat because we're partners! Hehe.
And, of course, during the trip, I slept.
/sleep sleep sleep
We also had a tour guide, Kuya Ronnie. He was very amusing, and I was happy that he was our tour guide and not the one in 7D, who looked very...formal and ... well, not very funny. Still, his humor didn't stop me from sleeping! :) He gave us some facts about the place -- and I tried ( well, half-tried ) to remember them all but I forgot and instead concentrated on eating some Cloud Nine bars. Tasty.
Our first destination was a church. I thought that we were going to go pray or somethin' like that then I realized that we went there to stare at things and take pictures. Doesn't really seem like the right thing to do in the house of God, but we did it. Uh. We took a picture as a class, and I was in the back middle. Veronica had Kuya Ronnie take a picture of the class too with her cellphone, and when I sneaked on it later, I disappeared! No seriously, I disappeared. I was behind Zinna and Pia, right beside Regina, and near Ignacio. But I wasn't there. I just ... poofed.
HAUNTED CHURCH?!? Haha, kidding. But seriously, where did my body go????
So anyway, back to the bus. Kuya Ronnie was once again telling us some stuffs and I was once again beginning to snooze off. We played a game -- but I was still half-asleep. Sorry, Kuya Ronnie!!! Anyway, our second destination was Mt. Samat, and that was the best part of the field trip. Before you reached the mountain, there was this sort of ramp that you had to walk to. My classmates got tired immediately with that little thingy.
Then came the mountain part. There were stairs that reached the top of the mountain and what was annoying was that the stairs was full of rocks. It was uncomfortable for the feet! But yeah.
When I was in Bicol a few weeks ago, we climbed the Lineon Hill. It's a hill, obviously, and unless you're with a senior citizen you have to walk allllll the way up. Or unless you're some famous hotshot. Then you can use a car. It was sort of easy, until you reached the top. Then you'd get tired! It was sort of like the Mt. Samat, but this time I was more ... used to it, I guess??? Haha. So I climbed it as fast as I could, because I wanted to be the first.
*climb climb climb -- well, actually, it's more of running up the stairs to the top of the mountain buuuuuuuuuuut...
At the end, I was the third person to reach it. Mind you, it's tough climbing a mountain with gravity just trying to pull you to your death. The first one to finish was Jason, who happens to be the first boy. I was the third person to reach it, and I was also the first girl to do so, and I am the first girl in our class. :D YAYYYY ( Unless you study in CSA, you won't get this ). I remember Michael, Dave, and Brent being one of the first people too--I forgot who was second. Then I suddenly remembered - Veronica! I thought she was behind me, so when I looked around at the top, I was sort of surprised that she wasn't there. Then a few minutes later, she and Zinna popped up. Then Zinna told me that Veronica had been panting and that she had an asthma ( i think, an asthma attack? ) because she tried to run up too. She was running because I was running, too. So yes, I'M SORRY, VERONICA!! D:
But the top of the mountain was nice. It was very cold~ We also took pictures, and I don't know if I disappeared again.
Next was a church, and we did basically the same thing again. Then we went to this boring museum, where they tried to teach us some stuff. We didn't learn anything. Then it was the end of that.
We also watched Avatar at the bus, and I practically slept during most of the trip home. And yeah, that was how my field trip went. Oh, and I had also hoped on arriving at school at 9 ( haha ) because ... well, I just wanted to see how it felt like arriving late after a field trip. :D Instead, we arrived twenty minutes earlier. But that's okay!
