today, we thought that

our normal HELE ( home economics and living education ) teacher would come back after a month of ... vacation? i don't know, she just left without saying to our class that she was going to. her replacement is MS. LAIG, a rather strict teacher -- who was my teacher at fourth grade! anyway, yeah, it turned out that she was still coming back next week. that's alright. i like doing nothing during HELE Times.

btw, yesterday, my PE teacher, MS. BELTRAN, told us about a third grade student that didn't want to go back to school anymore. why? because of a teacher who embarrassed him/her in front of the school? who was the teacher? MS. CATACUTAN. i remember, she did it to me too... here's the story.

we're supposed to record our grades in a paper called IPC. when it was time to submit it to the leader ( who will submit it to the teacher ), i gave it to MARY. apparently i did something wrong and she brought me to the teacher. then blah blah blah ( i didn't really listen ) at the end, she slapped me. eight year old, second grade me. she slapped an eight year old. in front of the class.

are teachers even allowed to do that? i remember she did that to somebody else too. i didn't cry but really! that's an old school kind of teaching. it's not allowed anymore. wow i just answered my own question.

other teachers are wonderful though! and MS. BELTRAN also told us that last week, a father stormed into school and slapped a teacher at grade one for some reason we don't know. :( i hope she's alright.
